Not only a DVD quality is sufficient for laptop displays, what's more is that x264 codecs are becoming more popular and I've see BlueRay x264 rips that are no bigger than a DVD and also give you quality that populates all and every single pixel on a 1280 px wide screen.<BR/>However, the benefits of a BlueRay Disc come from its volume.
